Salil Donde, most recently, was Executive Vice President, Global Information Services at Nasdaq. In this role, Mr. Donde was responsible for leading the strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of the company’s Index and Data products businesses which provide solutions, intelligence and insight to the global capital markets. Mr. Donde was instrumental in launching several Machine Learning based products, data products, indexes and sponsored ETFs. Prior to joining Nasdaq, Mr. Donde served as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Lewtan Technologies, Inc. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Marshall & Swift/Boeckh, and as President of Fiserv Life and Financial Software and Solutions, among the other leadership roles he has held in the broader financial services industry. Joe Ventura has over 15 years of software architecture experience specializing in secure, scalable, and high-performance financial systems. Joe previously worked for Mantara, where he successfully designed and implemented multiple large, complex, high-speed, and low-latency software systems for multiple financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, UBS, and Merrill Lynch, connecting to all major equity venues, such as the NYSE, NASDAQ, and DirectEdge. In addition, Joe architected PhotonTrader, a futures and options trading frontend for FuturePath, a Chicago-based brokerage connecting to CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, Eurex, Liffe, and BATS.
Igor has over 15 years of experience in building, operating, and investing in financial services, security, and media technology firms. Prior to AlphaPoint, Igor served as Managing Director of Cvetlo, an early stage venture firm making investments in fintech, adtech, and online media. Prior to Cvetlo, Igor led West Coast Business Development for LiftDNA, a digital ad exchange platform focused on managing online publisher ad revenue by making real-time pricing predictions for over 10 billion Ads Per Month. LiftDNA was acquired by OpenX, a global leader in digital and mobile advertising, in 2012. Previously, he held multiple roles over 5 years in the Security Technologies and Systems Integration divisions of Ingersoll Rand (TICKER: IR) / Allegion (TICKER: ALLE), where he drove adoption of new security technologies.
Jack Sallen has over 15 years experience in futures trading and financial services. He was the first to automate electronic arbitrage on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Jack has developed numerous automated trading strategies and trading messaging systems. Prior to AlphaPoint he was Lead Developer with FuturePath Trading where he helped develop PhotonTrader, a robust, plug-in scalable futures and futures-options trading platform capable of connecting to multiple backend systems, and wrote the connections to GL Trade, Rithmic, and Trading Technologies. At The Photon Group Jack developed custom automated trading strategies and tools including TimeSlicer - splits orders up over time and can match VWAP, Photon Torpedo - connects PhotonTrader to other charting packages to capture trade signals generated by those packages, AJ Trading - a strategy framework and trade transport, and AutoStopper - sends stop orders based on time and price triggers.
Scott has 25+ years of software engineering and technical management experience in the capital markets industry leading teams delivering a wide variety of business-differentiating solutions, including: OMS/EMS systems, algorithmic execution engines, securities masters, real-time position and risk, dynamic trading surveillance, post-trade regulatory reporting, market data delivery, and more. Scott’s previous roles include Head of Enterprise Technology and Head of Institutional Brokerage Technology at Susquehanna International Group, Director of Trade Lifecycle Systems at Deutsche Bank, and CTO and founder of S3 Consulting. Scott’s teams have successfully designed and delivered systems for multiple wall street institutions, including Merril Lynch, Trade.com, Paine Webber, Charles Schwab, Factiva, SIG, DB, and others. Throughout his career, Scott has focused on complex, distributed, massive-volume, high-performance systems; he holds two patents for proprietary asymmetric middleware optimized for massively concurrent web applications.
Brian has over 20 years of product development in the financial services industry, having spearheaded development in electronic trading, position keeping, P&L and risk management, compliance and STP. Before joining AlphaPoint Brian was the Chief Data Officer and the Chief Development Officer of TradingScreen, Inc. Prior to TradingScreen, he served as a Director of Development at Lava Trading from 2005 to 2009. He was responsible for development and product direction for Lava’s global multi-asset Buy Side Trading products, which included electronic trading, market data, and referential data across Equities, Options, Futures, and FX asset classes. Mr. Nadzan served as the Managing Director of Bloomberg LP from 1992 to 2005. He was responsible for development, support, and product direction of all trading applications at Bloomberg, including POMS, TOMS, and SSEOMS. He was also responsible for all electronic trading, portfolio analytics, compliance, and enterprise management applications during his career at Bloomberg. He serves as a Member of NJIT’s College of Computing Sciences Board of Visitors. Mr. Nadzan holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
Ted has 22+ years of experience leading business development, sales, and growth within early stage technology companies, the last 14 years in FinTech. Ted joins AlphaPoint from Sybenetix, where he expanded the UK-based behavioral analytics company into the US. Prior to Sybenetix, Ted ran Business and Corporate Development for Numerix, a market-leading derivatives analytics company. Ted helped the company realize 15x revenue growth while driving the Partnerships channel growth to over half of this total. He established and oversaw the firm’s 90 partnerships, which include relationships with some of the world’s larinclude Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Misys, Northern Trust, Microsoft, IBM, Sapient, and Ernst & Young.
Keith has over twenty years experience working with innovative technology companies. Most recently, Keith was a co-founder of Opendesks.com, a provider of real-time access to workspaces, meeting rooms, and other shared business resources in over 1000 locations worldwide. He co-founded the Internet advertising firm eXact Advertising (now Innovation Interactive), created podhoster.com (a podcast hosting company), and was an early employee of web-based email provider mail.com. He has led efforts in Software Development and Product Development at these businesses. He holds Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Nirbhay has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets and FinTech space. Prior to Alphapoint, Nirbhay held sales & relationship management responsibilities at FIS / SunGard, primarily working with Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms and Insurance companies. Between 2006 – 2014, Nirbhay was at BlackRock in a variety of roles within the Aladdin business and Institutional Strategy. He started his career at ThomsonReuters in 1997. Nirbhay has a B.S. in Finance from Bryant University (Rhode Island) and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Scott is a founding team member at AlphaPoint. Prior to joining AlphaPoint, Scott invested 10 years at 3 Silicon Valley software companies where he successfully acquired many of the companies' largest accounts to date, managed a team of sales development representatives, and was responsible for key client acquisitions like IBM, Wolters Kluwer, BlueFly, and many others. Scott has also founded and served as CEO of two coffee companies, one focused on import and distribution of green coffee, and the second on creating and distributing retail products. With over 14 years of startup and enterprise sales experience, Scott is Head of Sales and actively building out the company's Sales and Marketing divisions.
With over 15 years in sales and business development, Bene has spent the last decade in publishing, research, and conferences within capital markets and the digital marketing industry. At Risk, Operational Risk & Regulation, and Waters Technology, Bene lead the development of FinTech client bases, working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, major global exchange venues, and several of the world's largest technology firms. While at digital marketing publishing group ClickZ, part of Blenheim Chalcot, Bene lead North American business, introducing competitive research on digital marketing activities within retail and consumer banking.

Jennifer joins AlphaPoint from her own consultancy agency which helped FinTech companies launch products and produce revenue-generating events. Prior to running her own firm, she was global head of marketing and communication for Traiana (part of NEX Optimisation). Jennifer has also held senior marketing and communications roles at Knight Capital, Liquidnet and Numerix where she helped drive revenue and marketing initiatives across global markets.
Mr. Bender has over 20 years of experience in operational and financial leadership positions. He has a successful track record across multiple phases of the business life-cycle, including start-up, growth, expansion, and M&A. He brings deep expertise in raising equity and debt capital, setting strategy, implementing scalable business processes, attracting top talent, and creating a cohesive operating culture. In his most recent role as EVP & CFO at Axioma, Mr. Bender helped lead the NYC-based FinTech company from a start‐up with 12 employees into a leading Wall Street analytics provider. During his tenure, the company realized 50X revenue growth, expanded internationally, raised $100m in venture capital & private equity financing, and grew the employee base by over 10-fold. Prior to that, Mr. Bender led strategic planning and business development for a $250m division of a public media company, where he oversaw numerous media acquisitions and strategic alliances. Mr. Bender holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from North Carolina State University.

He serves as the Scientist-in-Residence at FinTech Innovation Lab, organized by The Partnership Fund for New York City in conjunction with Accenture. David has served as a Managing Director at Swiss Re, and Senior Advisor to the Head of Swiss Re Financial Services. Previously, he was Managing Director at a multi-strategy hedge fund with $10 Billion of assets under management, Vice President of Financial Engineering/Principal Finance at AIG, a Director at the rating agency Fitch, and a capital markets professional specializing in leveraged credit transactions. He has also been a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). He holds a Ph.D. with concentrations in Econometrics/Mathematical Statistics and Economics/Industrial Organization from the University of Chicago, and an M.B.A. in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. He was Co-Founder of Cassiopae a French securitization software company and worked at Microsoft for 15 years as a General Manager of Global and Enterprise Businesses. He holds a Computer Science degree from University of Pittsburgh and has been a frequent speaker and author on Blockchain, Open Data and transparency in the financial services industry, including congressional testimony on how to fix the mortgage backed security industry and as board members of XBRL.US.
Kamran Rafieyan has over 25 years of experience in capital markets as a technology executive and entrepreneur. He was a co-founder of Lava Trading - a successful FinTech firm that was a pioneer in the fields of smart order routing and market data aggregation, and later acquired by Citi. He has been an independent advisor and consultant to numerously private held firms, assisting with all aspects of company creation and growth, from business plans and funding to product design and low-level technology. He is currently a co-founder at Enceladus Trading, a quantitative trading firm utilizing proprietary machine-learning predictive models. Mr. Rafieyan received a B.S.E. from Princeton University and an M.S. from the University of California at Berkeley.
